Insurance & Distance Policy
The trailer is covered by comprehensive and public liability insurance when travelling within 500 km of our address; however, a basic excess of $500 applies for any damage caused to the trailer. Insurance does not cover any travel beyond 500 km from our yard. Hires beyond this distance are strictly prohibited. If you travel outside this limit, the trailer will not be covered by insurance, and a $500 penalty will apply. In the event of any unforeseen incident occurring beyond the 500 km limit, the hirer is fully responsible for returning the trailer to our yard at their own cost.
FAQ
Can I use the ramp for machinery?
No. The rear ramp is primarily designed to provide easy trolley access for furniture and household goods. The ramp has a maximum rating of 500kg and is not suitable for loading heavy machinery or vehicles.
What makes this trailer different from a standard cage trailer?
The full-width rear ramp allows fridges, washing machines, furniture and other bulky items to be easily loaded using a trolley, reducing lifting and making moving easier.
